Any opinions on this cross? Good deal?Appears to be something etched on the back. Any idea of the maker? Any help appreciated. Thanks

The cross looks OK however it looks to have been cleaned and
repainted. Engraving is a tough thing to call. In most cases it is
impossible to tell when it was done. 90 years ago or 90 days ago.

Thanks. Looks a little shiny I admit. Anyone else?

I like the look of the back. Who knows on the engraving scratch. Doesn't seem consitent with the aging though. Scratch should have aged too. The front detail looks good. Rim looks cleaned and polished. Hard to tell if it has been spot painted on the left arm at the rim or if the whole surface has been polished / waxed. While it is hard to tell from the pics, the curvature looks deep which is good. Steve
