    Infantry Regiment 14 Medallion

I found this in boxes I am going through. I would think this is a commerative to be used as a watch fob? Any ideas?

    Height (including eyelet) 46.95 mm
    Width: 34.70
    Thickness: 2.70

Duct tape can't fix stupid, but it can muffle the sound.

    Bob,

While I can't get a sense of scale, it looks standard medal size. If so, this could have been mounted on a red, white and black ribbon as well for commemorative wear. Steve

Sorry Bob. I did not mean to cut into your thread before you were done. Apologies. Here's a couple of regimentals from my eBay pic files to illustrate. Steve

Commemorative medals were worn-and not just on regimental days. I have seen some medal bars with them on. There are no complete source books on these-yet, but there are some avid collectors out there.

Steve: Nice Corps medal by the way.

            Hey Bob,

I thought you would want to see the same medal you have on one of Rick's old threads.

                Landsknechte- Great bar pic.

Well Bob, I guess that confirms my suspicion that it was mounted on a red, white and black ribbon. It fit the type. Steve
