More..
One can also find unmarked versions without a hallmark. This one is quite interesting! It has a silvered brass obverse frame and a real silver reverse frame! I'm not kidding! It is also vaulted.Different style core as well. OK AWS sceptics, here's the reverse of my pillowed example at x250 - note the form of the maker's mark is the same as those above.Regards

.... and, after MUCH fiddling with digital cameras and monocular field miscoscope, here is an enlargement of the maker's mark. Blurry but the AWS lettering should be apparent....

Thanks Mike, I can see the AWS quite clearly on this scan. I'll see if I can get a scan of my mate's as I know the detail is still there. His is a 925, the one I posted is 800 marked.Comment
