Help needed with a WWI U boot badge!!

Can someone please tell me if this badge is OK or not.
Dull grey, non-magnetic, looks like war metal.

I've copied this thread from over in Wehrmacht badges, since 1918 is our period!

I know that badges were originally made in Kriegsmetall, but the way this one's pin and hook are made looks WW2 to me-- like what you find on Ostvolk pinbacks, with better metal on those pin parts than the rest of the badge, as well as sitting on little plates like yours.

Your submarine also looks "fatter" with more of a conning tower to me than I remember-- bringing up my two badges for comparison-- a solid ?1920s piece, and the all but universal hollow Steinhauer & Lück badge of the 1930s and WW2

Though unmarked, S&L pieces can be matched exactly to their catalog illustrations, engraved precisely from photographs of their products

from the January 1939 S&L catalog

I'd agree with Rick its definitely a 1930s or probably a 1943-44 replacement, given the use of Zinc rather than tombak.
First time I have seen an Imperial U-Boat from this period using late-war materials etc.
My 1930s piece also has the double forward mast, like this one and the one posted by Rick.

The early Walter Schott (i.e. Juncker) made pieces have only a single forward mast.

                  Hello,
Thank you guys for the information but can someone be a bit more precise.
Is the badge 100 % original and is it really made in the WWII period????
I thought that the Germans where also making zinc badges in 1918???
