How can I tell if the sig is signed of printed? When I run my finger over it, it feels slightly indented. Hard to tell.

This old bit of paper certainly is interesting!

I've never seen a stamped signature in this sort of paperwork.

You asked "How can I tell if the sig is signed of printed?". Try this: Obtain a $5 jeweler's glass from a stamp shop. Look at a signature you know is printed in a book or something. You can see clearly at high magnification that the lines that cross over each over blend together like they are one. Then take a pen and sign your name on a piece of paper and look at it under high magnification. You will see clearly that the lines that cross over other lines, appear to be laying on top of the ones below. Even on a 100 year-old signature this is apparent. I keep trying to get an original Kaiser Wilhelm signature and I keep receiving printed ones. Back they go.
