Yes it is a match, that is the King Wilhelm II Silver Military Merit Medal 1892 - 1918. Although it certainly is a match for the ribbon, as stated above, this ribbon could have belonged to one of the other awards as well. I believe as this ribbon was “paired” with an ek2, the ribbon would have belonged to one of the lesser medals such as the King Wilhelm II in Silver or perhaps gold. The Military Merit Medal in Silver was awarded for awarded for bravery. The gold medal was awarded for repeated acts of bravery. Also both the silver and gold medals were awarded only to non-commissioned officers and junior ranks where as the “Orders” were only issued to officers depending on rank. Here is a photo of the Wurttemberg Ritterkreuz 1914 - 1918 without crown. This was an “Order” only for officer ranks.

            Cheers,

            Marcus

You are very welcome and an added note to my response above, after looking through my literature, The ribbon of the order was, until 1818 and after 1914, yellow with broad black stripes near each edge. After November 1917, when the ribbon was worn without the medal, the ribbon bore a green-enameled wreath to distinguish it from other Württemberg decorations on the same ribbon.

                Cheers,
