Hello,

I was wondering about the different grades of the Prussian Militärverdienstkreuz . I have heard of the Golden Militär Verdienstkreuz , the highest award for noncoms, but were there lesser grades of this award? Any information will be most welcomed.

There was one grade. The word "Golden" added to the title was a descriptive. With or without "Golden" the cross is one and the same. The earliest versions were of gold, later to become "938" silver.
