Hi guys, This is dedub67, I wish you all would have emailed me with your situations, but in any case we are all learning here, I have been on this thread for about a year now and if you all look, I came in here asking the same questions you all ask and you all responed the same way, but with positive attituds and I bought the stuff, now you are telling me it is fakes, I don't know a thing about this stuff then and obvioulsy I don't now, I bought all this stuff from the same man, and been selling it ever since, If someone tells me it is a fake and can prove it to me like the ebay member b24d has done I will sell it as such. I have not in any way ripped anybody off, I have had about 6 returns and gave the money back that was owed, with shipping, I cannot have over 600 positives by ripping people off, Doug See don't have a clue what he is talking about, I don't know anyone in Dallas fort worth, and Dedub is my horses name. it has nothing to do with Dallas fort worth, I bought her from D W Fraiser, and that is her name, I have never been on this thread in any other name than the one you see now and I have never been on ebay with any other name, I am a honest person and will stay that way, Please ask me any questions you feel necesarry, I will answer them all, and if you see a fake TELL ME I will sell it that way, Thanks for reading,,, Renee Snider

I did get burned on one of those about 3 years ago. Whoever posted it here said it was supposedly out of an "old" collection. I posted a photo of it here after I bought it and several people here gave it the thumbs down. So that was you? You failed to mention you had handfuls of them. Yep. I was fooled.

After I saw more of these being sold on eBay, and other members here started to question them, I became convinced they were fakes--which they are. Here's one of the old threads. Back then, the82nd in Dallas was selling them:

The shallow detail on that core and the nonsensical Weimar eagle over M should have tipped me off. Someone went to an awful lot of trouble to hand pick and assemble that "estate" collection you bought, Renee. It's no "accident" that this little collection included all repros of rare badges, US wings, Imperial badges, and Confederate items in large quantities. Many of these were purposely aged to fool buyers. They weren't described as the reproductions they are. The crudely engraved retired pilot badges and EK's weren't so convincing. Someone had a nice little business in fakes going and I guess they sold it to you. The reason your auctions were associated with Dallas is that there is a seller, the82nd, who sold these exact same items over and over. He finally got exposed and stopped selling under that name, just around the same time you started selling those same items. What a coincidence. Well, I won't waste any more of our time. I think the ball is in your court to do the right thing, Renee (and/or Jim).
