Greetings from Oldenburg -no chance for Rick

Too difficultly for Rick and all the others - there are only about 40 awards, but the most of the Officers were L dR or L dLw and got the Hausorden von Hohenzollern, too.

    Nevertheless the bar is beautiful

    Greetings from Hessen

    Werner,

I saw the bar on Zeige's Auction catalogue. Did you purchase it? It is a very nice bar and quite scarce with this combination (Oldenburg Hausorden).

    Ciao,

    Claudio

Alas, for such a rare award to be untraceable!!! I suppose the only thing that could be done would be to try and narrow down whether some of those reserve officers were killed...

Do you have a WW1 Regimental History for Inf Rgt 91, Werner? That should show if SOME of the "suspects" on the award roll (Neal O'Connor's Baden/Oldenburg book lists ALL of them, there were so few he did not just list aviation recipients) did not survive until 1935. Rick

        it raining bars......

        Hi Claudio,

I confess, yes I have bought them.

There were three interesting bars for me - but I couldn't buy it all in front of Kube.

        Hi Rick,

I have all names and will get to me the history of the IR 91.
But I do not believe in a chance.

Best regards from the rainy Frankfurt

        Werner
