A bad fake.

Hello,
this is a copy appeared on the European market in 1997-98. It was produced in Austria or Hungary, although many of such pieces, were sold in the first days of the well-known web page.
It completely differs from a piece made by Gurschner or from the copies whose dies/molds have been prepared, starting from an original.
Similar pieces, are usually for sale from suppliers of uniforms and accessories for reenactors.
Knowing how an original is made and its aspect, will be most helpful to immediately avoid such poor copies.
