bavaria mvk 3 Klasse krone + schwerter help

Hello collectors,

yesterday i got a present from a friend, it s this Bavarian MVK 3 class. However i collect only items from the second world war, and have no experiance with items of the imperial time. perhaps someone could help me with this. is this an original item or a fake one???.

This is an absolute original piece. Is there a makers mark on one of the sword-blades? Sometimes a single letter like "D".

This cross was awarded about 73000 times during WWI and it is made of copper-plated bronze.

Maybe you could start collecting Imperial beginning with this cross??

Yeah, you are right that could be the chance to start collecting

the swords are not maker marked hope this is nothing uncommon.

In Germany is a museum in Ingolstadt you must travell it is very nice you see items Uniforms Dekorations an Flags from the old bavarian units....with big swords collection from the tukey.....

When interested ....go there...From the 1. WW are a 'Schützengraben with a soldier ...very good...
