To be honest, both badges seem to be fake of a known type, with bad quality enamel work. Sorry for a bad news... And the thing that we see them for sale in quantity in a wrong boxes only makes this feeling stronger...alas.

Agreed. This is a fake that now seems to be appearing regularly on eBay.

Just look at the enamel work. Concave and poorly done enamel likely indicates modern cold, acrylic enamel rather than the proper hot glass enamel seen on originals.

Acrylic cold enamel shrinks when it dries causing the concave appearance. It is very difficult to make cold enamel flush with the metal details. It either sinks in the middle, or forms a rounded, raised uneven surface, when applied in multiple coats.

I'm sorry you were misled like this. Can you return it to the dealer?

Not sure if its a valid point or not to help ID these particular fakes but of all the enamelled versions I have pictures of in my archives wether they be screw-back or pin-back the repro Silesian eagles with acrylic enamel always has a double (inner & outer) eye circle which doesnt occur on any original SEs I have seen so far ?
