The badge is a Baden Veterans kriegerbund badge. They are found with different towns names on the ribbon. The Baden veteran would have had one from the town he came from. Not really expensive and fun to collect the different towns. I would think, like the Wurttemberg Kriegerbund badges, the smaller towns with few people living there would be the hardest and most expensive to obtain. Bavarian veterans also had a badge.
