The Schlesischer Adler is to me the most evocative badge to represent the Freikorps. For the average collector with no Freikorps knowledge the Gr. Ost shield may look like Teutonic Knights or even Monty Python.

GMIC already uses the SA as its avatar and I guess the thought was that WAF wanted something different. I think the Grenzschutz Ost shield is a good alternative. Maybe having this avatar will prompt people to take an interest in finding out what it is, if they don't recognize it.
