I recently purchased a nice stone mint DDR paratroop enlisted man parade tunic for only $18 at a local surplus store near my home last Tuesday. This 1974-dated DDR para EM tunic came with cuff bars. I spoke with my local friend who also collect DDR tunics about my big find. He had bought identical para EM parade tunic for same price at same local surplus store. The identical para tunic with cuff bars was sold for in excess of $100 on a major DDR militaria dealer's website. My friend told me in private email that the para EM parade tunics are very excessively rare. My DDR para parade tunic was made out of wooly material and was open -collared. Any collector out who have the tough to find para EM parade tunic with cuff bars??? I also found a similiar tunic on German eBay for 95 Euros(roughly $130!) What a hell of deal for me!!!! Im very lucky to get this scarce tunic for my collection!!!!
