    Hi Tony,

It was a close run affair. I initially ignored the warning signs, and consequently, this was a much bigger issue than it had to be. Truth is, I almost pushed it beyond the point of no return, and almost got to see my "Maker".

I'm glad I came to my senses at the last moment, and sought medical help when I did. A week or two longer, and I would have not been around to celebrate my 60th birthday.

This type of event for some is a life changing affair, and so it is with me. There is going to be some changes in my life and how I live it, and what is, and is not important is going to be reevaluated. Priorities are going to be adjusted in matter of significance and importance.

But I'm glad I'm going to be around for awhile longer. Still have some things I want to do and accomplish.

Thanks for the warm thoughts; they are much appreciated Tony.
Hope all is well in PA, and I hope spring finally finds its way there.

    All the best to you.

I don't know about my 120th birthday, but I do plan to be around for a few more.

Thanks for the congratulations. They are very much appreciated.

MG - thanks for the update about your health and I hope you have been building up your strength to run those half marathons again... :-)

Always the comic ..... Stasi humor.

Ralph, I am definitely following through with rehab and Monday, was cleared by my heart surgeon to again drive on my own. That was really great news. I went home immediately after, and my "Snake" and I got reacquainted right away. I was just glad to find that it actually started, since it has such a small battery.

Each day I am progressively better. But I'll leave marathons and half-marathons to the people that are into self abuse. I used to in my former military life participate in Combat Cross Country and other ridiculous similar type events - but that was when I was very young and could not die or be killed. I am now much older (and wiser) and realize there is a lot more to life than running yourself to an early grave. For example, there is fine wine and fine food; and great friends with whom to share both with.

Hey Torsten - always good to hear from you.

Thanks for the Birthday wishes. The best part of it was that I was here to celebrate it.
