Found this on eBay. Need your thoughts on the Double Silver Chevrons, do they belong on a female uniform jacket from the late 1960's? Every thing on this jacket looks ok to me, I'm not 100% sure on the chevrons? Thanks

Cuff bars were used for female walking-out and parade uniforms... I believe there is at least one picture in Kuebke & Kunz' book, though i'd have to check out exactly on what page.Originally posted by uscob View PostComment

) From what I have read this tunic looks like a good female Grenztruppen der DDR to me, and it has a cloth ribbon bar. All the parts seem to match up to the time period but whether or not all the parts are original to the jacket is another story. I'm starting to think uniform collecting has a lot in common with Lego building blocks

Received it in the mail today, this is probably the most interesting female jacket I have so far
From what I understand, the jackets with three buttons and no pockets are from 1965 to 1976-ish.
