    Border Adventures of the Redcatchers

In response to new forum member CWL's post regarding his interest in the DDR, I have decided to share a number of photographs taken by members of my father's unit the 2nd Armored Cavalry Regiment looking into East Germany & Czechoslovakia. I do not own the copyright to these images henceforth I have not marked them in anyway nor do I claim ownership of any of the pictures posted, all are used for reference and general interest purposes only. Respects given to those who took the photographs. Enjoy.

    Sincerely,
    DeWayne

As you can see plenty of encounters with the Grenzers and their Grenzflieger counterparts along the border region. Fascinating in its entirity if you ask me personally. I have many more pictures Ive accumulated over the years these are just a select few. Thanks for looking.

          Sincerely,
          DeWayne

NOTE: These Grenzers are on the West German side of the Border Fence

OK, I understand the DDR landmark with the faded watchtower in the back. Can you translate the other two signs for me, PLEASE? Thank You AGAIN!
