    Ebay NVA Seller

Does anyone know if "lastfrontline east german militaria" on Ebay is a reputable consistent seller?
Just curious as there is a General's visor that he's selling that's looks interesting.

Search this forum with the name "lastfrontline" and you will get your answer. Here is a couple of examples:

I purchased an Army General's visor from "lastfrontline" almost 2 years ago. It's a size 60 from 1981. I paid 275.00. Peaking behind the sweatband behind the cockade I see red thread sewn to the back.
Does anyone know of specific areas to check on these visor hats for authenticity?

The two EG NVA General's Visor Hats easiest and most often faked are Grenz and Polizei ..... because the original officer version can be used to accomplish the fakery.

However, regarding the seller in question, there has been cause for concern that the other military branch General's Visor Hats are being re-made (India or Czech Republic possibly). Hence, they require very close "On-hands" scrutiny to insure they are genuine, before laying down the kind of cash these hats demand.

Bottom line: Know your dealer, and then decide if the risk is worthwhile. For example, will they refund the article plus shipping costs if it doesn't pass the "Smell" test when received?

I'll get some pictures up of the hat.

This hat is one of two items not purchased from my usual trusted source.
