Hello fellow DDR members, I posted some bunch of pictures of my reissued TR-era Feuerwehr cap from late1940s-early 1950s. This TR-era Feuerwehr M-43 cap was reissued by East Germany to members of DDR Feuerwehr. This particular M-43 cap had 1950s- era bullseye DDR emblem in the place of old TR-era traperoid eagle emblem which you can see the traces of black threads on the cap. This eagle emblem was removed by DDR and replaced with bullseye emblem. The M-43 cap still had old TR-era company logo(raised two fingers). I got it from Diane from Bradenburg Historica off eBay 3 years ago. Here are pictures to follow. James

My friend REV(Rick Church) examined this M-43 hat and he told me that he liked this early 1950s reissued DDR TR-era M-43 hat. I still owns this M-43 hat. Thanks,James

Two raised fingers logo
Hey Ralph, I already took picture of this TR-era company logo to show in full. But I tried to post it on my thread on that DDR Feuerwehr M-43 hat but my picture was too large to upload. The forum limit for pictures to be posted have to be 244 KB limit. My large picture was over 330 KB. Any suggestion to reduce it size to small size. Or I will shoot new picture once again. Hello James - If you are using sometype of photoshop program, there will be a program that will allow you to shrink the picture to the size you need. Also check your PM...Somebody, after all, had to make a start. What we wrote and said is also believed by many others. They just don't dare express themselves as we did. Postwar M43 caps are collecting interest of mine, although I currently do not own any DDR examples.

Hi James,
I can relate to your find. I have a Feuerwehr Overcoat and the buttons that close the back are actually Nazi Arbeitdeinst buttons. I figure my coat was a reissued TR item. MikeComment
