Is that just a price derived by insane automatic bidding tho? I've seen some very ordinary(ish) Soviet items go mental like that - one of my associates got US$600 into a US$100 item in a similar way...

What do other similar items go for?

Its a nice lot, but I wouldn't have thought worth that much to anyone no?

Hello

This was the second time this uniform was on ebay , the first time
there was only a buy it now price .
He was telling the daggers were not complete , otherwise ebay goes mad !
I find it srange that on ebay germany its not allowed to sell officers daggers , I think there's no problem to sell those on ebay USA ?
There are no feedbacks given or received for the uniform yet ,
maybe it was sold to himself or a friend ?
I know of a seller of flags who is doing this , he bids on his own stuff , if you look at the highest bidder , you see that he only bought from that seller , its so obvious .

To view this auction from the U.S. click on the link I provided. When you get the response that this oitem can not be bought form ebay U.S.A. there is a line at the top of the page that says "to buy this item on ebay.de click here" or words to that effect. That will take you to the auction.
ebay.com must have started something new in the last day or so. I was following this auction from my ebay.com account and had no problem looking at it from there yesterday but can not do that today. That puts a real crimp in my following ebay.de auctions and bidding on them. I'll post pictures and a short write up on the auction anyway so the English speaking audience can see what this thing is all about. Johan has covered most of it anyway.

Gordon - Thanks for the education on what Ebay is doing now I was unfamiliar with their new practice.

As brought up before, I think we all need to place a picture from the ebay auction in a started thread so we all can refer to it in the future when a member is doing searches on a item.
