Who are these two generals?

And the general with KGB badge and order of great patriotic war 1st or 2nd class.Is he from Mfs?Was he working with KGB?And fought in the GPW?

I was told that the soviets gave them also to foreigners as a comemorative Badge for the participation in the Parades etc in 1985.

Both persons are from the MfS and as said in earlier posts the person on the left is Markus Wolf. While Markus Wolf was young, the family settled in Moscow during the 1930s. During WWII, Markus Wolf continued to live and go to school in Moscow and returned to Germany after the war and was part of the Berlin radio journalist crew that attended the Nuremburg trials of 1945 and 1946.

Hello,left is Wolf and right is Mittig.
those 2 badges are kgb badges.I think verdienst ore 60/70 years kgb.They've got almost the same size and model.
More higher mfs officers had these badges.A collector offerd me years ago a bar with 3 off these badges.at that time I really didn't know what it was.It looked very home made 3 sovjet badges on a GDR bar.Only 100 euro I had to pay for that.

Got this from ebay auction which is a uniform group belong to general Maarkus mischa Wolf.

Markus did not serve in the Soviet Army like his brother Koni. Both brothers served together in the Soviet Young Pioneer (Boy Scouts) and later Markus was sent to the Communist International school to be trained in espionage type activities.

Did he was in the Soviet army like his brother?

I had posted a link to it towards the end of the thread on Markus Wolf's death.
Although I think that our dear friend 81REDSTAR does not mean that he won the auction as the winner is located in Germany and not in Coventry, England... I also think that the final price might have been a trifle steep for many of us... me included
