Ok so they are not actually trying to pass this off as SS but I am sure several individuals here will be outraged. One could probably make one of these for less than starting bid!

I love that they use "resemble"... at least they're trying to be honest, though I think "suggest" would be a better word.

As for their assertion that it would be "great for a collection", I concur. The local collector I would recommend this piece to is called Independent Sanitation. They collect every Monday and Thursday morning.

The Eagle and "Made in Germany" totally give away that its a genuine DDR dagger.

There IS a little ruler in the photos, so I guess it's full size. For what that's worth.

Other than that, the only thing right about the listing is "Post-WWII" in the title.

As with many of these messed up listings, there is a tiny kernel of truth to be found within... I quote:

                              "Is very rare!"

I would go so far as to say it is one of a kind...

What was the tunic originally? I cannot even tell!

Love the description on this M56 helmet:
I PERSONALLY USED THIS WHENEVER I CAME HOME DRUNK AND THE X-WIFE TRIED TO PING ME WITH THE FRYING PAN. NO LUMPS! THIS THING IS SOLID METAL, WITH ALL THE ORIGINAL HARDWARE. *NO FRYING PAN WAS HURT DURNING THE POUNDING OF MY HEAD. THIS WILL FIT ANY DRUNK HUSBAND'S HEAD.
