just started collecting ddr

hi ya all

Well I thought I would go ahead now that I have learned I am not the only "new recruit" on the roster to say hallo, and say what a wonderfull load of intel you guys are! I have bought a couple of things from Torsten as of late, thank you Sir,
But I have just really started in the last 30 days because of the price and repo TR stuff Scares the hell out of me. Well I would tell ya all what I have collected but I don't want to bore you guys. I did manage to get a dark collar parade blouse and a complete polizie uniform. I have a major and feldwebel stassi uniform, some ribbon bars and a bronze vvo with the red case. Just a couple of things I can remember at 3 in the morning I did want to say "Cheers!" to everyone.

Michael - New or old at collecting DDR items...you are always welcomed to the forum. I for one would be interested in reading what you collect or at know what your collecting interests are.

Hi Guys,
I am having problems trying to fill out a application for the forum. I am going to break down and pay for my membership, BUT the thing doesn't want to work today, it keeps giving me the re fresh sreen. Well I would put pics up if any one cared to see, but I guess I'll have to wait to pay some other time.

But it seems as If the forum Gods smiled on me today, because I was able to aquire my paid membership So now all I have to do is get off my butt and take some pics for you guys. By the way, is the police medal with the green enamal "honor" medal worth much or rare even? It kind of reminds me of a "rainbow" the way the medal looks. There's one on ebay, I was thinking of buying. Just wanted some advise. I havn't narrowed down my collection interests yet so......lol

Here is a Link to the DDR Police Honor Medal (early type without Ribbon)

these are high in Value(approx.230EUR onwards) and rare Birds but be Careful,because Fakes are already floating around.
The later type with the large green Ribbon is more easy to find and with a bit Luck you can get the later and last type for about 15-20EUR on ebay.
