          Nico,

Thank you for your recent responses regarding this little known and more, even less understood organization. Your tutelage regarding this subject matter is very much appreciated.

I have a question if I may impose.....

The Wasserwirtschaft is one of the few organizations where the base color for the shoulder boards actually differed within the same organization, dependent upon the component to which the person was assigned.

Could you if you don't mind, further elaborate on the different colors and what they mean, relevant to the Wasserwirtschaft shoulder boards? For example, some were red, some yellow, some green etc. I imagine the different colors signified different departments within the makeup of the Wasserwirtschaft organization. But we on the Forum do not know what each color signified.
          Thanks,
          Michael D. GALLAGHER

                            Nico,

Great stuff! So according to your information then the above two uniforms (Michael's & Torsten) worked in watertreatment and disposal.

What tipped you off - the water treatment plant off in the distance behind my Wasserwirtschaft friend?
