    Order of the Red Star

    Not sure if this is the correct section for this post, if not admin please remove. My first USSR order/medal which I am really pleased with. Opinions and thoughts always welcome!

    Order of the Red Star, USSR. Numbered #872595. Awarded to Senior Medical Nurse Maria Julianovna Kadukova.

    Citation reads: “Kadukova, Maria Julianova, Senior Medical Nurse, Evacuation Hospital No. 3810, born 1897, Russian, in the Red Army since September 1941, drafted by Andreevsky City Military Command, Rostov-on-Don. “Permanently stayed at the Evacuation Hospital #3810 since September 1941, with her personal example, good work and attitude to the treatment of wounded officers and private soldiers, contributed to their getting well. Trained 10 nurses for blood transfusion and other operations and rules for treatment of sick and wounded soldiers."

    Very cool, I would assume any womens awards would bring a premium, and being under one mill, it has to be a ww2 award.....

        Thank you for the comments gentlemen. If possible, could somebody tell me which number ranges equate to what year the Order was presented (for when I get another in the future)?
