Gents,

I'm not big into edged weapons, commemorative or otherwise, but thought these recent eBay offerings were worthy of discussion.

First up is a GSG9 commemorative issued in honor of the 25th Anniversary Mogadishu raid / rescue.

Would anyone care to comment on this combat knife?

Is it a legitimate collectible?

I would say it would fit into a knife collectors collection. Probably a BGS collector would be interested as well. I would be tempted to buy it because it is a limited edition knife but that would depend on the price.

Not an official one

Hi,
those knives were sold on the open market in 2002 for 400 Euro.
It is not any official knife or even initiated by the BGS.
Company Boeker just take the event and issued this knife.
So for a knife collector nice, but not direclty related to the BGS.
