    Transportation Training Center Mainz insignia

Has anyone ever seen this shoulder patch before?

This is one of the cloth versions of the 'unit crests' (Internesverbandsabzeichen - companieabzeichen - brustenhanger) which are metal shield type badges worn on a leather fob from the button of the right pocket. Many of these crests are now being produced and worn on the combat uniform. I am not sure what the regulation is as when the IVAs first appeared (1980) it was stated that a cloth version would never be authorised to be worn.

      Fahrschule (Driving School)

In the mid 90´s there were a lot of cloth patches of the Brustanhänger for wearing on the left upper arm.

The guy who has these for sale charges 8,50 Euro S&H for 2 patches.

Anyone got a lead on where else I can snag one or two of these?
