Are €50,00 too much for a 1957 Splinter-Tarn jacket? It's the model without a hood but with zipper and buttons on its front. Worn condition. Sorry that I can't provide pictures at the moment.

Even for a fairly poor quality example €50 is actually quite cheap these days. If the condition is very good then it's a steal. I've seen very abused examples selling over €100.
Normal problems are broken zipper, missing/broken/replaced snaps, frayed cuffs and hem, multiple significant repairs, stains/paint, and significant overall fading.
Note that *all* Bundeswehr Splittertarn jackets have no hood on them. There is, however, a detachable hood that uses snaps. Usually jackets are sold without the hoods, but the hoods come up for sale fairly regularly.
