Red Kangeroo of the German Paratroops

Hi Can anyone who knows their German parachute badges tell me which unit this badge represents?

The badge has no manufacturer marks.

    Thank you,

    Steve.

Steve - According my reference, German Airborne Insignia 1956-1992 by Harry Pugh, it belongs to the 260th Airborne Supply Company, 26th Airborne Brigade.

I'm pretty sure the Brigade has been re-organized, but I'm not sure of the present status of the 260th Airborne Supply Company. The unit's garrison was in Merzig, Germany.

    It's a nice looking badge.

    All the best - TJ
