Bernd. - Very nice jacket indeed, my congratulations. I like the look and feel, it has a certain aura about it.

It was interesting to see the red backing on the shoulder boards. Does this speak to the general's rank or affiliation with the Artillerie / Raketen und Flugkörper community?

Again, my congratulations on a fine piece. Good luck in getting the matching hat (it doesn't look as though Gordon appears willing to part with his!)

The red general officers collar tabs are the standard ones worn by general officers in the BW. Also historically done for many years in the German military.
As for the hat, it stays with Generalmajor Ebeling's uniform until the time comes to pass both on to some other collector.
