GSG9 in 1983 FJ@ Camp Pendleton

This is a group of us all wearing the GSG9 helmets back in 83. We were at Camp Pendleton USMC. As far as the equipment, smocks and so forth I can't remember how much was real or fake. Just wanted to share. I also picked up a GSG9 at the SOS will post when I take photos.

What kind of Bundeswehr FJ helmet do we have here? The Bw liner was issued March 1973 according to the stamping on the leather.

You have an early BW para helmet made in 1973. The BW markings are quite clear in one the photos on the auction. I've followed this auction for a while but since I already have two of these helmets in mint condition I would not pay this inflated price for one in this condition.

Thanks to the two of you. I'm a little confused now. I've been searching the net for the last hour and was already convinced to see a GSG9 helmet as GranSasso says.
