The last photo that might be polizei related from this much larger photo lot is this one.
Interesting is that the coach is a General Motors Truck.

Thanks for the closeup of the Tschako. That looks like Kiel, which fits with the writing on the back. Here is a picture of the Kiel badge:

The others are probably S-H, though it is harder to say with the pistol shooting picture.

Thanks Steve for posting that badge and a useful link.
I just have to post just one more picture from that lot.
He's dressed for a bikeride and wears a visor.
He's not an early polizei motor police man,is he ?

          Or just into leather ........................

          The jacket is interesting.

You can see why LW collectors have such heartbreak with so-called 'Hartmann Jackets'.

I don't know what it is, but without a badge on his hat... I'd hesitate to say he's part of a Polizei organization. Or any official BRD organization for that matter. Though if this was from the 1940s I think all bets are off.

It should be mandatory that people write some information on the back of these old photos for future collecting purposes.
Here's one just after an accident.
From another photo lot so not related to the previous ones.

                  chiffonnier,
have some infos to the above photos. To the ones with the wreck, Kirn on the sign lies in Rheinland-Pfalz.

The group photo appear to be NRW Polizei, seemingly confirmed by the location is the "Restaurant Bergische Schweiz" in Solingen. Apparently torn down 2008, after several years as a disko. Photo probably sometime in mid 50s (just a guess).

Here a photo of the restaurant:

                    Klaus,
Great to see a picture with the same Solingen restaurant, thanks for posting it and your information.
I'm on the lookout for more photo lots almost every day but lately without succes.
Ecxept for this single one .
My guess is it is a Wuppertal license plate ,but I have no clue about the man in uniform .
                    All the best,

                      Kees,

The man in the uniform could be a Weimar Republic policeman. I've posted a picture below of a policeman from the era.

                      Regards,

                        Gordon;
                        Thanks for your post.
I bought the photo because of the good view of the car in it.
Car photoos are a collectable field on their own for me.
But I'm not a real expert on cars,I just like them, but I thought it was a Hanomag L28 that came out in the fifties.
I hope someone with real car knowledge can shed some light on what the model is.
                        All the best,
                        Kees

Not a car expert, but the car look from 1950s to me. There is not a 1930s character to the photo (to me). NRW Polizei wore a blue uniform before 1955, but unfortunately can not find any photos of it. The man in your photo appear to wear a summer tunic, which would be lighter, as a guess. The 2 cap badges could be small star (below) and Kokarde in national colours.

That would place the policemen in the Solingen photo in mid-late 1950s, as they wear already the green uniform.

                          Regards

Interesting to see that the jacket this man is wearing is in the style of a leather jacket worn by Luftwaffe Ace Erich Hartmann. Cool!

I think maybe it's close to impossible to tell what uniform this man is wearing.
                              You're right it's light coloured.
In fact so light it even can be the light grey from an Austrian policeman or border guard guy (zoll).

A very common style leather jacket in those days and I had several over the years.
I must admit putting a metal breast eagle on a few before sales although there never had been one on it ever...
I have left those mischief years behind me though.
                                all the best,
