Interesting find, a P P Bln Pocket knife. I had not been aware these were issued.

These knives are not common. I have one and posted pictures of it several years ago. I'll have to see if I can find it again and add to your thread.

Here are some pictures of my PP Bln pocket knife. The makers mark, two cranes facing each other, was used by Robert Klass of Solingen. The markings stamped on the grip of one side appear to be identical on both of our knives "24 108"? The knife blade is approximately 4 inches (10 cm) and the saw blade slightly shorter. Its a heavy knife and I wouldn't want to carry it in a regular patrol uniform. It looks more like something carried in a field uniform.
