I am completely new in the field of British awards and so I need your help with this medal.

My guts say its a fake. Touching the ribbon at least does not feel like the German ones. I tried to read about identifying British medals and from it the E in "THE" is not like it should be (the middle line is the same length) and the four beads in the middle of the crown is not that good. But generally the details are crisp and the pebbling looks okay I think.
Anyway I got it for like less than 1.5 euros so even if it's a fake it's not such a big deal
