I recently met the Commandant of the British Chaplain school. I told him of my visit to <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" /><st1:State w:st="on">Normandy</st1:State> and how I was impressed with the operation for <st1lace w:st="on"><st1:PlaceName w:st="on">Pegasus</st1:PlaceName> <st1:PlaceType w:st="on">Bridge</st1:PlaceType></st1lace>.

He said that Lord Lovat’s chaplain preached a message before the landings and then killed himself. Has anyone heard of this?
