    1888 or 1903 British bayonet?

I picked up this bayonet a couple months ago... I was wondering what model it is, and am also interested to learn what "BBCI" stands for. All I've been able to research about it, is that it has the later steel bolts in the grip rather than early brass rivets. And also the "X" on the blade means it passed the bend test... unfortunately that's all I've been able to learn about it using google. Any info on the bayo is appreciated

        bayonet

It's a 1903 bayonet. I'm not sure about BBCI though.

Thanks Paul for confirming it is a model 1903.

B... B... Collegiate Institute? Many Canadian high schools had cadet corps well into the 1970s and '80s. Just a thought.
