American Ambulance Great Britain Side Cap

One of the rarest British side caps to be found, female AAGB side cap with Bronze badge. Cap badge has one prong missing and has been period sewn down to the cap, not too sure if this would have been an officer issue as i cannot find much info on this unit, from little info i have there appear to have been 800 members. Getting up at 5 this morning was well worth it

Excellent cap, and very nice quality. Looks like you'll be searching round for a matching bronze cap button as you seem to be one short! What type of buttons are they, I can't quite make them out in the photo?

Thanks Robb, i thought everybody had gone on holiday From what ive read on tinternet the unit was set up by Americans living in the UK donating monies to purchase Ambulances , these were driven bywomen from ''Fanny'' units. Tell the truth id never heard of them before so a nice suprice to find this cap
