Hi guys,
Cn anyone confirm if the cross in the photo could have been issued during WW2, it is marked on the rear to a squadren leader killed on 7/7/1940.
I always thought a cross with this front motif was issued for persons killed in WW1 and the ones with the seperate G and R were WW2. The rear of the cross has a maker mark of WW2 produced crosses.
Sorry about the quality of the photo its all I have at the moment.
