Airborne MkV Sten 1944 Frog and Magazine Loader Pouch

Hi All,

Weather is terrible here in Normandy, so in need of some Airborne porn!!!!

How rare are the 1944 dated MkV Sten Airborne bayonet frogs with magazine loader pouch (Say compared to the twin Browning/Colt mag pouch)?

Can any of you please display some images (front and back).

Only the bayonet pictured is for fitment to a MK2 sten, it is also questionable whether these were ever actually issued. The MK V Sten used the standard No4 Pig sticker bayonet.

PS. The pocket is for a blank end not a mag loader, so the sten could be jumped with in the disassembled form not built up.

Hi Luc,

Thank you for posting images. The only 1944 one I have seen is owned by a friend of mine at the Pegasus Museum. It was found here used by 6th Airborne.
