    Taken From: http://www.gostak.demon.co.uk/helmets/unitedkingdom.htm

Designed during WW2 for use by home-front workers in areas likely to be bombed, this is named after government scientist Solly Zuckerman. Once rare, thousands now flood the market.
The really rare version is now the one produced in the Netherlands post-WW2; surplus shells from the UK were fitted with Dutch liners similar to those in Dutch WW2 helmets and used by the Dutch civil defence. The Dutch liners were riveted on, using the same holes as used by the primitive British laced-on liner.

I have done some research and I must admit that Aaron is right about the zuckerman helmets beeing used by the Dutch.

im interested in buying this single ww2 Canadian medal set i spotted on ebay. it comes with some papers and a 1939-1945 war medal - i was just wondering, were all Canadian medals always engraved(?) because this medal is aparntly not ( so it could be a replacement?)

I thought this one looked quite nice, but the price went through the roof (for my budget).

Coming back to this one, since it's still being offered... at the same price for more than a month now, what do you think about it, price aside?

                            Hi All,
A fibre rim on ebay, No,170548412584. I think it looks good, with a nice early net.

Looks like an honest early BMB to me.
Is this hexagonal type of netting early war? Just trying to learn from this.

                                ww2 sandcoloured SAS beret

Ha ha, I mailed this seller that this is an ordinary khaki infantry beret and post war badge he said thank you but not changing his add! Hope no one is fooled by this one! In addition the SAS were obliged to wear maroon berets as from 1944 and only a few old hands continued to wear the beige one Paddy Maine being the best example. I did see once however a sandcoloured kangol dated 1945. Bullion beret badges were being worn by officers as from the 50-ties.

                                Cheers
                                JB
