Decipher WW1 British Army Unit on Map Cover Please?

I recently bought this WW1 British Army Map of the Lens area of France dated 1915.

On the cover and written in pencil appears to be a name. Maybe 'G Cotton'?

Underneath appears to be written an Army Unit. Perhaps beginning with the letters 36 or 56 ?

Can any of you members work out the details of the unit please?

    Many thanks in advance.

In my personal opinion the map belonged to Lt. Alfred Joseph Horton, 56th London Division, Honourable Artillery Company.

            On the map is written:

            J. Horton.
T (T is positioned over the "A" of HAC to denote Territorial.)
            56 HAC

The only strange thing is the 56th Div wasnt in France until Jan 1916? Perhaps the 1916 edition had yet to be released so the date does fit. Research into the publication dates of trench maps needs to be done by you.

Many thanks. I'm very impressed. Did you use an image editor or the Mk. 1 Eye-ball?

              Thanks again,
              Bob.
