    Help ID British (?) Cap.

    Hello, another item I've had for ages & have'nt identified - British manufacturer, silver or silver plate buttons now tarnished black, bearing design of King's Crown (c 1902 - c1952) over "NP". Patent leather peak & strap. Police? (Nottingham Police, Northampton Police, Natal Police - have'nt got a clue). Can't think of any yeomanry that fit the bill.
