Strange question but bear with me.
An old friend and neighbour of mine has just let slip that he will be giving me a British WW2 silk map detailing area's of Italy. I'm not sure if its an escape map or what. Its approx 20inches by 25 inches in size (sorry i've not seen it and this is all the info I have so far).
My question is, though I would be more than happy to except something like this (its better than a pair of socks or a soap on a rope) I don't know a lot about them as I collect other WW1-2 items. If its worth something I would not want to take it and would like my neighbour to keep hold of it. I know I've not given a lot of detail here but what do you think.
Any info would be great.
