I was given this badge just the other day. I'm thinking it's an early version of the 22nd saskatchewan light horse but how early? As an aside, the person that gave me this badge said it wasn't popular as it depicted a chicken (actually a rooster) on it. The troops not being happy requested another design. Any truth to this?
