upload photos internet page? or only attachment via waf?

Hello collectors community,

since I was off for a longer time,
I do not remember anymore how to post pictures
in waf

As am currently not an association member I do
not have the "attachment" when I want to post
a new thread.

Is it possible to post photos in my thread or this
function is only for association members?
I remember before it was possible to upload
on an external page and script the adress in the post.
But somehow I have in mind it is forbidden when
the attachment fuction was introduced.
