I am not a collector of things SS, just too much money involved and really only one or two things which I would really consider having.
A few years ago I met Mark Bando at a book fair in Normandy, nice man easy to talk to , no ego what you saw was what you got.
Sadly no english language reprint edition of "In the Land of the Dead" has been forthcoming , rather a let down in my opinion, it really did deserve one.
I bought his book having read this thread , only down side was outside the author's control- the overseas postage but that was my choice.
I have the late MB's set by Schiffers , so I can't imagine I will be buying another book on SS related items but no regrets in buying Mark's book.
The views expressed , everyone has their own say but for me a decent book obtained from Mr Bando, who was more than helpful.
Sold out ....the French Heimdal edition has pretty much gone , at the Tilly book fair last year George Bernage had a few copies for sale after which he would have no more.Last edited by behblc; 04-05-2018, 03:01 PM.
