This past weekend I saw the trailer for the upcoming movie "Darkest Hour" staring Gary Oldman as Winston Churchill. Although considered more of a drama than a war movie, it looks like it is going to be good.
Since there was "almost" a complete lack of reference to Churchill in the current Dunkirk movie, this new movie is a welcome subject, at least it is for me. It does focus on the period when Dunkirk was happening, so it will be interesting to see if they show any scenes of that beach, and if so, how it will look.
The scheduled release dates are November 22nd for the USA, and November 29th for the UK.
I am looking forward to it.
