    Books about Mothers Crosses

Are there dedicated books about Mothers Crosses ?

I can't find anything, browsing through Google... or this Forum.

What are the Mothers Crosses books you know ?
Which ones do you recommand ?
    Any comment on them ?

Please, could you post here exact and precise data about them : title, author, date of publishing, publisher, language, ISBN number.... and if possible, a pic of the book cover.

    In advance, many thanks.

    Cheers.

Hi Christophe, I don't think that such a book has ever been published? The best info on the subject can be found right here on the forum.

      Cheers, Ade.

        Thanks Ade,

Here is a good subject for a future book. Any candidate for writing it ?

In fact all I know concerning literature about these crosses, except the content of this wonderful Forum is Detlev's new book and a section of Christopher Ailsby's "World War 2 German Medals and Political Awards".
Are there such sections in other books ?

        Cheers.

Yes Christophe, they are also covered in Littlejohn & Dodkins "Orders, Decorations, Medals & Badges of the Third Reich" Volume 1 & there is some nice pictures of them being made in Angolia's second volume of "For Führer & Fatherland, Political & Civil Awards of the Third Reich"

          Cheers

Christophe, some time ago, I posted some scans of an article from a period German magazine on Mothercrosses. A lot of was purely propaganda, but it had some nice pics of the MKs being made. It may still be around somewhere, I'll try to post a link if I can.
