Death of a Nazi Army

Has anyone read "Death of a Nazi Army" by William Breuer?
I read it a year or so ago and found it to be a very good account of the Allied breakout of Normandy. Although it mainly focuses on the U.S. sector of the breakout(Operation Cobra) I found it very informative.
Can anyone offer any other books on the Allied breakout of Normandy or incirclement/destruction of the German 5th and 7th army's?

Hi Perry,

Simply put - there is no book that approaches Carlo D' Estes "Decision in Normandy" for insightful analysis at the operational level. Lots of other books out there will give you a tactical perspective - but this provides the best overview.

I ahve a book on the destruction of the Falaise pocket, but as is usual here at home I can never find what I want, and I can't remember the title. I will post it when it shows up
